Deblasio just said in his press conference that REDISTRIBUTION OF WEALTH is the only way to fix schools in NYC

Go to the 6:15 mark. This SOB is a straight up communist. NYC deserves him.

The American MIDDLE CLASS is enemy number ONE of all socio-communist ideologists. Racial equity is the modern polemic they turn on and their pathway to full blown American communism. Used to be hardcore Bolsheviks and/or Marxists pulled out the old class warfare card/strategy to force vanguard to actual revolution. Nowadays it is "racial equity". Same tactic, different name re-branded for our here and now. They'll all burn in hell. Perhaps it is up to us to get them there ahead of schedule.

The schools will only "improve" when the students "improve."

And that ain't gonna happen.

So I guess the rich people in New York City had better leave before Mr. de Blasio & his ilk milk them of all their money for a hopeless cause.

If the parents would pay as much attention to caring for their kid's education as they do caring for quart bottles of Colt Malt Liquor then the kids would do better in school.

So, there's one vote for putting government in charge of deciding how much everyone earns. Any others?

The American people have neglected to direct their government on taking a fair and balanced position on sharing the wealth. That's the American way.

The wealthiest country in the world, with the most ability to provide for it's people, shouldn't be 15th. on quality of life.

I would amend your message to say that the government has already decided on how much everyone should earn and it has erred in it's decision.

Or would you prefer to say that the government has left the decision up to the very wealthy?

Sounds like the Commie Teacher's Unions are trying to shake down the Democrats for more money. Nothing to see here.

We just have a different philosophy of government. I don't think it's the role of a government to "provide for its people".

The decision should be up to "We the People", not the government. Everyone who participates in the market, anyone who buys or sells goods or services, is helping to decide how much people and businesses should make. There's no need for government to overrule our decisions.

How would your purchasing or selling goods and services be able to influence government or change it's behaviour? That requires some sort of explanation?

Americans who can't even afford to put food on the table for their families have no power to influence anything.
They're lucky if they can still afford cheap junk from walmart.

The American way is failing fast and it can't be avoided for much longer. You're close to having a real revolution on your streets, with real guns and real blood.

It wouldn't. Why do you ask?

Why are academic standards "racist" in NYC?

If blacks can't keep up and do well it must be racist. The Bell Curve need not apply.

Of course, we have been living an illusion for decades now, mainly thanks to the Supreme Court morons.
