I believe the Death penalty is needed for all murderers and rapist. Yes you go around killing people in cold blood, you probably should be dead for doing so. Seems fair!...Same needs to be done for a man that can't CONTROL HIS COCK and rapes a innocent woman.

These crimes would drop if we did this to all of the above....

1. They'd get a trial of their peers. 2. A chance of a retrial within 60 days and 3. a death penalty within 90 if that falls through. This would save billions of dollars!

Less of these crimes would certainly occur
Less prisons
Less tax payer dollars
=a win!

Then why not for robbery, carjacking, kidnapping and child molesting???

Seriously though, if we did that there would be some major unintended consequences. Every one accused of those crimes would be demanding a trial to avoid the death penalty. After all, they have nothing to lose asking for a trial. There would be no incentive for the guilty to plead.
