"The full U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit affirmed Friday that Congress could turn to the courts to get its subpoena of President Trump’s former White House Counsel Don McGahn enforced.

The circuit court roundly rejected McGahn’s arguments — previously adopted by a panel of three judges from the appeals court — that the judiciary should not get involved in these kinds of disputes between the legislative and executive branches."

If the balance of power between the exec and legislative branches is to be restored Congress must be allowed to access information it needs to carry out its oversight duties. This went without saying before Individual 1 became prez. And before he appointed the most corrupt AG in history.............Billy the Bagman.

In a 7-2 decision, the full U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit said the House has a long-standing right to force government officials to testify and produce documents. The ruling came in one of a set of historic clashes between the White House and Democratic lawmakers.

So we'll be waiting for the USSC decision sometime in 2028.... Carry on....
I doubt it will be that long if they even take the case. The point being there's a principle at stake here called the right to congressional oversight.

"A federal appeals court dealt a major setback Friday to President Donald Trump’s bid to prevent his former White House counsel Don McGahn from being forced to testify to a House committee.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit ruled Friday, 7-2, that the House has legal standing to use the courts to compel McGahn to appear in response to a House Judiciary Committee subpoena."
