SNAP benefits "aka the gravy train" came to an end yesterday (at least, the federally funded benefits did). States have had to step up and perhaps - will even have to eliminate a bit of their bureaucracy in order to keep payments flowing.

As best I can tell:
1. Nobody has starved yet (despite doom and gloom predicted from the democrats)

2. Chuck Schumer is still responsible for this government shutdown.

Hopefully states will start beefing up their emergency funds because I believe this kind of dumb-fuckery by the vile dems will be the norm as long as Trump is in office.

Or, just say **** it and return it to the producers of their state instead of having to spend 214M a month on deadbeats (like Virginia is doing) till Schumer and the vile dems pull their heads out their ass.

I'd not mind my share of Virginia's 5 billion rainy day fund.

I wonder if the states (like Virginia) that kept SNAP whole during the vile dem/Schumer shutdown will have to sue to get their money back?

Nobody starves in 2 days, kid.

I was very disappointed yesterday. I had my drinks and snacks ready for a full afternoon and evening of flipping between stations watching the food riots, and they never materialized.

What’s up polls, you so weak from malnutrition that you can’t even loot or riot?

LOL....I guess all the "dire warnings" that the MSM was pushing are about like their gloom-n-doom weather forecasting.

Hundreds of thousands in California told to stay out of the water

1. You don't know that.
2. Republicans are being blamed for the shutdown.

That's not what the democrats were telling us.
Yes it was. So just shut your mouth and watch what happens if this goes on for a month or 2. Or if this is made permanent.

I'd be curious as to how many Walmart's were raided, I mean raided more than normal.
