he wasnt doing that yet....he started doing that with SF in the middle 90's.........

I'm a Pirates fan, and he was a great player. Until greatness and a World Championship went to his head and he started on drugs and gained weight. Some people can't handle prosperity. Could have been a sure Hall of Famer.

He actually got clean when he joined the Reds and played much better for the Reds.

The Pirates were pissed and I think tried to take legal action against him of some kind.
