Well that was a wasted 10 minutes of my life I'll never get back. Just to give one example, he's deluded about most universities and their current activities. Most are halls of indoctrination born out of the Vietnam era students. The fact that they hired people like Bill Ayres and Bernadine Dorn tells you all you need to know about the evolution of higher indoctrination. 60s radicals changed the noble mission universities and colleges into something earlier generation of grads wouldn't recognize.

Act with stealth and inflexibility .

Remove the loudest and most troublesome by whatever means and taking out rabble rousers and "intellectuals" is always paramount .

Brooks is one of many conservatives who are horrified by what has happened to his party, and to America. A couple of problems, though:

First, a pretty large swath of this country just doesn't give a shit. They can tell you who won on "Survivor", but they can't tell you who a Vice President is or what the debt is. They vote based on the shallowest of reasons.

Second, there is no excuse for the Democratic Party to lose to this debacle. Instead of protesting and conducting civic uprisings, maybe the party should be looking in the mirror and asking itself what IT has done so wrong.

There's a lot of things the Dems can't do right now, as they've given away any power they had. But one thing they CAN do is become a more attractive alternative to ignorant, paranoid, bigoted, Dunning-Kruger neofascism.
