Daniel Penny acquitted!

Have you never seen how bouncers handle this? they do it routinely, aren't afraid to take a punch and very rarely kill anyone. If a bouncer had been on that train the black kid would be alive, trust me.
I was a bouncer for seven years.

So, yeah, I've seen how bouncers handle this.

Usually once you have the better of them, they give up. Plus you have a ton of back up...not only other bouncers, but regulars you know you can trust.

This was a completely different situation than bouncing.

You're just glad that a black man was killed, admit it.

Oh God...:gay:...not this shit again.

It's 2024.... nobody subscribes to the racism narrative with shit like this anymore :bye1::bye1:

Penny eliminates the threat if the guy was purple...dOy.

Incorrect.... :bye1:

A guilty verdict would have set precedents far more dangerous....dOy.

These mentally ill people used to be in institutions that closed in the 1980's. The precedent set today exceedingly healthy for society and the public at large....will save innocent lives.

This is not Oz...
as most of the public understands. Only fringe progressives fcuk up the victim part....dUh
The prosecution should have brought an expert in, a body guard or bouncer or security guard like those from the secret service. The jury would have seen the other options for doing this, options that are not fatal.

Justice has been served.

And there is much rejoicing.

This prosecution should have never been brought.

This is good news. Unfortunately, it doesn't change the fact that most will think twice or three times before getting involved in defending others, especially in NYC.

Protecting innocent people from dangerous mentally ill people is just as important as protecting people from all other innocent people. The 'victim', as was the case in the George Floyd death, most likely died of the drugs in his system. The NYC medical examiner initially listed the cause of death as 'inconclusive' and later determined that Penny's choke hold killed him. And she came to that conclusion before seeing the toxicology report.

There is no indication Penny intended Neely any harm, but when it is necessary to make a 'citizen arrest' to protect people who are being threatened, it should be understood that doing that isn't always possible without injuring the perpetrator. Neely should have been in a mental institution long ago. But because that didn't happen is not license for him to harm others. Penny never should have been charged. But since he was, at least the trial had the right outcome.
Protecting innocent people is a rather broad statement. But like I said, I accept the jury's verdict and let the domino's fall where they may.

This is the sad part...

"The episode also sparked outrage about how Neely fell through the cracks of the city’s mental health system, failing to get the treatment he needed despite the NYPD treating him as an “emotionally disturbed person” in more than two dozen prior encounters with him."

Neely was mentally ill. New York is spending millions on housing illegal aliens while their own citizens aren't getting the treatment they need to control their schizophrenia.
…. and to keep the mentally ill away from American citizens who they could harm.

I really wonder if Neeley bought a ticket to get on the train. I don't recall that information. But really, did he jump the turnstiles to get on so he could threaten people for their money and their lives? And where in our constitution, is that allowed?

How the FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK is someone not in prison after being arrested 42 fucking times?

The NY DOJ killed Neely. He never should have been on the street.
My guess is that in NYC there are Criminals ( on the Street) with 141 Arrests ( 5 warrants pending including Felonies and assault charges pending ) who were recently arrested and let go

"Could" is now a crime? LOL!
when they threaten right? I mean, didn't the FBI put together a whole file to go after parents speaking at schoolboard meetings? What was the intention of that exactly?

What was your kill rate?

Every situation is "different".

Define "fighting" for me please...

Be sure to wear that red hat face forward so you can see it coming, psycho. You're right, people like you used to be in institutions far away from a voting booth.
What can I say...I can't even take all the winning.:popcorn:

Progressives are relics of a former era in 2024 as is their thinking :2up:

Why are you worried about a town you'll never visit?
