DANCING--Am I the only fan?

I'm watching the Australian version right now. I only watch it for this guy:

Cosentino the magician. He's worth the 2 hours I have to sit though it.

Watch the show on occasion. A few years back, there was another dance show "So you think you can dance". Saw this guy who did an amazing dance style called popping.

I watch that show too--have since its inception. And I remember that audition. As I recall, the guy didn't make it past Vegas week--just couldn't master the other dance styles sufficiently to make the top 20--but he went on make videos and commercials just as Nigel hoped. Muraine was also brought back to perform at the finale of the show.

They've scheduled auditions so presumably the show will be on again this summer per usual:

After skipping over Chicago for last year's audition process, "So You Think You Can Dance" will conduct open-call auditions Feb. 27 and March 1.

On Thursday, Feb. 27, producers from the show will audition candidates at the Oriental Theatre. Saturday's call-backs will be in front of judges Nigel Lythgoe and Mary Murphy, guest judge Jenna Elfman and possibly host Cat Deeley.

I'm thinking I may start a fresh thread just for these competition shows since any one of them probably has a limited fan base at USMB. That way we can track more than one if they are running simultaneously. American Idol is into Vegas Week last night and tonight and there will probably be others coming on after the winter Olympics.
