Is it weird that I like The Colbert Report better than The Daily Show?

I really like Colbert a lot, and I was very excited for the show once I saw Robert Smigel was involved. I will say that Colbert is a terrible interviewer (to be expected; he's only been doing it for, what, 3 weeks?), and he doesn't seem to have very good improv skills (unless they're so good I can't tell), but the writing on that show is top-notch.

Yeah, I basically tune in to watch the first segment where he does "The Word"

I cry most times it's so funny.

After that, it goes down hill very quickly.
