So, they need more Metro Police to maintain the safety, and DC should get the funds to do so....

National guard can not do local policing, they can not arrest people, or get search and seizures, warrants for arrest, interrogate etc....an increase in actual law enforcement would give the city, more safety in return than our military can.

No. Trump has shown that police in lib cities are being made ineffective. That’s why things have improved in DC in the one week since the feds took over.

We don't provide alcohol rehab services at public expense except in jail. Drugs should be no different. I know you believe in a nanny state, unfortunately for you, the constitution does not provide for that.

Providing free rehab due to addiction is not. I am in favor of free rehab if it comes as a condition of incarceration. Again, you believe in a nanny state, I don't. That won't change. BTW, can you show me where a nanny state is provided for in the constitution?

I wasn't addressing children, my issue was only if adults should be allowed to have legal recreational drugs.
