D.C. Homeless Encampments Get Bulldozed

The vast majority of drinkers are not alcoholics. Almost everyone I socialize with drinks but none are alcoholics. I have every reason to believe the same pattern of addiction applies to all drugs.
Alcoholism is a big problem for millions of people. Even if most are not alcoholics, how does that help those who are?

Alcohol is legal and people abuse it. Heroin is illegal and people abuse it. There is NOTHING that will not be abused by some people somewhere.

And making heroin LEGAL will let more lowlifes with poor values abuse it more easily. Why is that a good thing?
