Presidential Election prognostications:
1. BOTH major parties will nominate candidates who are not considered "league-leading" at this point. In at least one case, somebody not even being considered as a possible candidate at this time.
2. The puppet masters of both parties are biding their time in one respect but not the other:
2.a Each is close to deciding or may have already decided, who you'll be allowed to vote for in 2016.
2.b Each is waiting the nominations to be in place before orchestrating events (like war, recession, civil unrest, terrorist attack) that will show their opposition candidate in the worst possible light.
3. No matter who wins, if it's a major party candidate, you're screwed.
