China gets an unfair advantage in the market because the government subsidizes it’s manufacturing sector. United States Government needs to help U.S. manufacturing and job creation by cutting off taxpayer funded subsidies to wind farms using Chicom turbines. Green socialist want a “Green New Deal” but the world’s largest polluters, China, is profiting from the environmentalists cause.

We shouldn't trust Chinese parts or products for anything. It's like they say,. When you lay with dogs you get fleas. We should slowly decouple from this evil country completely. From a freedom standpoint, that country is everything America was created to prevent.

China is an adversary. “Made in the USA” is the safest way to go + it will create manufacturing jobs for Americans.

State media in China defends their governments practices...just like Democrats and liberal media do here in the United States.
'Ridiculous at best': Chinese state media give their take on Trump and the tariff war

I be with you on this if you simply advocated ending subsidies and stopped there. Instead, this has to be yet another silly protectionist tirade.
China is protectionist for their manufacturing jobs...so should we. You think we should just let our enemies walk all over us? You’re a Ron Paul nut aren’t you?

The US has nothing on China when it comes to printing money to enrich its chosen.

China manipulates it currency to make its manufactured goods cheaper when sitting on shelves at big box retailers. They do the same with the green energy market as well.

So are you saying the wind turbines subsidizes should continue in the US?

from your article:
John Hensley, manager of industry data and analysis at the American Wind Energy Association, said that while Chinese turbine makers are making significant market gains in Asia, there is relatively little risk of a surge in turbine imports from China to the United States.

The people here have let them and many sold themselves to them as manufacturing was bought out and taken to China. They were buying the companies and taking them to China and then they offered key employees a 3-6 month job training the chinese employees. Personally I would have to them no. People sold themselves and their fellow workers, neighbors and friends out for a few months of pay.

When they needed more money in their system they printed it. Start looking into all their manipulation of hedge funds, finance and insurance. People who had built some legitimate businesses over there were smart enough to get out when they saw the state prosecuting other business people they knew. Its still communist but that also means you are either on top and in or your out with every bit of thuggary the state can muster.

If we're going to subsidize wind turbines or more efficient batteries to store their power, we should be sure they're American owned and made in America by American workers. Anyone who wants to call that protectionism can be my guest. America was founded on protectionism.

That’s in part because a wind farm’s primary components—nacelles, blades and towers—are large and expensive to ship on oceangoing vessels. And once in the United States, the equipment must move by truck or rail from seaports to production sites mostly in the nation’s interior.

But Hensley also said that developers and financiers of U.S. wind farms are often more comfortable using domestically produced turbines that have been proven to work under varied weather conditions unique to the United States. “We expect that market trend to continue moving forward,” he said.

from the OP article, they do not import wind turbines.

Your article says the USA is primarily using USA manufactured turbines...

Our wind farms believe American made turbines better address the different wind conditions in the USA....

So what's the issue?

Wind Turbines are the largest waste of money and natural resources in the history of mankind. Of course it is kind of a toss up between solar panels and wind turbines. Geothermal is also terrible.

We should not be investing in any.

Please explain your position. What makes you say that?

We should not be subsidizing companies of foreigner and foreign entities or any that are shell companies within companies, within companies were it is not open information on where public funds are being routed to.

Information on who exactly owned it was difficult to locate. It was just listed as private but I've found many other foreign owned companies are listed as having private ownership too. E.ON was assumed by

I need to add don't get me wrong when speaking of communist government leadership and equate that with the people of China. I had a very near and dear friend from China. She distrusted Vietnamese with a passion and I think mostly that was because of the communist culture.

I was going to say I agree, but when I saw Bush92 did, I wondered what you meant. I think China is becoming more capitalistic but the government is crooked, like ours now.
