Cuomo:"Those (Trump) cases in New York were a joke. The cases they brought against him reeked of politics."

To a sane and rational person, yes. NYC mayoral voters, not happening... it looks like Cuomo is pulling ahead in the "not Zohran" category.
I think Mamdani would be a mistake for dems

Latest polls
A July poll by market research company HarrisX shows Mamdani leading a four-man race. The survey of 585 registered New York City voters has Mamdani with 26% of the vote, followed by Cuomo (23%), Sliwa (22%) and Adams (13%). Fifteen percent of responded said they are undecided. Yet Cuomo and Sliwa are within the polls margin of error, meaning the results essentially show a three-way tie.

Too close to call

On June 30, the Senate approved its version of the massive Republican tax-and-spend reform bill on a 51–50 tie-break vote. As written, the bill will add nearly $4 trillion to the debt. Under realistic assumptions about economic growth, congressional extensions of tax giveaways or delays to spending reform, and the fiscal impact of mass deportations, the bill’s cost could soar past $6 trillion. Put bluntly, the Senate’s megabill is a fiscal disaster. It violates the House’s fiscal framework and speeds the nation toward crisis

That was awesome!

In a four-way race that includes Mamdani, Cuomo, Republican Curtis Sliwa and New York City Mayor Eric Adams, the poll finds Mamdani with 26%, Cuomo with 23%, Sliwa with 22% and Adams at 13%. Some 15% of voters remain undecided.

In that scenario, Mamdani, Cuomo and Sliwa are essentially tied, since the results are within the 4.1% margin of error in the poll of 600

The FEC ruled that Trump's campaign did nothing illegal. The judge refused to allow the FEC staffer to testify to that FACT in the trial.

The Trump Campaign as irrelevant to the New York State business crimes.

It was Cohen as Trumps personal attorney that was charged and convicted of felony campaign contribution laws. It wa Cohen’s crime that Trump was trying to hide.
