Hope so.

Vacancies in the House of Reps can only be filled by special election-not by any governor. Sort of a tight schedule to get that done before the end of the term, although I suppose a special election could be held simultaneously with the general election in November to serve from then through 3 January 2023 under the old congressional lines.
