A former Ohio judge who was sentenced to six months behind bars after being convicted of a felony related to her brother landing a court job was dragged from a courtroom on Monday as she protested her sentence.

The 52-year-old former judge, Tracie Hunter, went limp after she heard her sentenced and was dragged backwards out of the courtroom.

Hunter had earlier been convicted of a felony count of unlawful interest in a public contract in 2014, and given the six month sentence. The case was linked to an incident in which the Associated Press reports Hunter shared a confidential document with her brother who faced a disciplinary hearing in his government job. Her attorney maintains she did nothing illegal, yet she was convicted and her appeals denied.

The sentence was delayed to allow for Hunter's appeal, but she ended up losing, which prompted Monday's hearing.

Supporters wearing t-shirts bearing the ex-judge's name screamed out after the sentence was handed down. When deputies approached Hunter to remove her from the courtroom, she went limp and was dragged out of court.

Just another in a long line of reasons why judges should not be elected....They should be appointed by the legislature so judges are not beholden to a particular constituency.

This happened over six years ago and judges are still getting elected.

I'll bet she and her 'supporters' claimed racism as the actual cause behind the prosecution, that she did nothing wrong, and is being discriminated against.

And I wrote the above and then decided to read fully the article, and lo and behold, here it is, the usual race card:
"Part of what happened in this case... it's racially charged. She was the first African American woman to get elected to be on the juvenile court bench.

You are ready to excuse Trump, though, adulterer, serial monogamist, felon, so and so forth.

Name a politician who hasn't been plagued with rumors of affairs and such. Mostly rumors, can you prove any of them? And then you call him a serial monogamist! You're funny! Do you even realize what you said? You contradicted yourself in one sentence. See how intelligent all that name calling makes you look?

The thirty-four felony charges that Letitia James' politically motivated prosecution lawfare brought against him? Who got hurt? He didn't defraud anybody. Falsifying business records without any tax evasion and such is somehow a felony? And then to make it a separate charge for each journal entry, each invoice, and each check? Are you an accountant? James nor the jury obviously is not. An invoice requires payment with a check. When the check is written, a journal entry is made. So right there they tripled the charges based upon GAAP. For a victimless crime. So go ahead and say what you will, but if that right there doesn't fit malicious prosecution, I don't know what does. PERIOD.

And then we get 'protesters' who are caught on camera committing felonies, but juries let them off in Portland, OR.

Stop it. "Whataboutism" is not a reason, only an excuse of the weak-minded who can't think for themselves.

He can't, nor can you, since you are both flat on your backs. You can't see straight, because your brain is swirling with confusion.
He already has. And you haven't produced squat.
