In conflict with the social and racial justice components of ESG. Featuring an old white guy in bibs goes against diversity and inclusion.
Our mission of Pleasing People® is not just about serving delicious, homestyle food at fair prices in a way that makes guests feel cared for like family. It is also about the many decisions we make every day to ensure the Cracker Barrel brand is living up to the core values we have established for ourselves.
Among those values, we have committed to drive environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues forward by evaluating and reporting how they may impact a variety of stakeholders, including guests, employees, suppliers, shareholders and the communities we serve. While we are on a journey and recognize there is more to be done in the coming years, we are pleased to transparently share our progress regarding environmental responsibility, food safety and quality, providing a great workplace for our team, and operating under the highest standards of corporate governance and business ethics.
The old cracker in bibs offends me.............I need a safe space..........................![]()
Not 100% sure about this. Comments are crazy.
Nope. What's happening is we have so many asshole leftists trying to destroy America and turn it into a communist shithole.
You folks are no ******* good.
Everything about you is toxic to any society.
Nothing regarding food was mentioned...... social and racial justice was the reason.I'm sure you'd rather have the Ptomaine poisoning.
Debatable little man.Sounds like he's accomplished more than you ever will.
It is probably nothing more significant than a copycat mentality in a cooker cutter mentality world:They changed their sign. Simply a tragedy of epic proportions. Lol
The article notes the drop is all over some perceived political mumbo jumbo.
People have sadly allowed politics to take over their lives.
The positive is that MAGAs are ******* themselves. CB goes under, thats one less restaurant for them.
Are there special restaurants for liberals? "People of Color Makeup Case"?The positive is that MAGAs are ******* themselves. CB goes under, thats [sic] one less restaurant for them.
Yes, the ones not going bankrupt. Are there special restaurants for liberals? "People of Color Makeup Case"?
Bon Appetit. Don't forget to eat with your pinky out.Yes, the ones not going bankrupt.
They will. MAGAs will soon be reduced to dollar store food.Bon Appetit. Don't forget to eat with your pinky out.
Do you get headaches agonizing over partisan politics 24/7?They will. MAGAs will soon be reduced to dollar store food.
Nope. Do you?Do you get headaches agonizing over partisan politics 24/7?

I guess you have the memory capacity of single cell lifeforms.Right. Changing an outdated logo is the first step towards Communism.
Better than eating bugs. They will. MAGAs will soon be reduced to dollar store food.
It is probably nothing more significant than a copycat mentality in a cooker cutter mentality world:
--Housing developments where all the houses look pretty much just alike. You don't see much in the way of truly amazing architecture anymore.
--The automobile was once a playground for a creative designer's dream with every model being unique and competing for the most beautiful and distinctive image.of the year. Now you can't tell most makes from any others because they all pretty much look alike.
But in a world where propaganda replaces thoughtful observation and analysis . .
where indoctrination replaces critical thinking, logic, reason, evaluation. . .
where group think is the politically correct position to take on everything and honest debate and consideration of different opinions is strongly discouraged. . .
It is no wonder that as a people we are losing much of our creativity, appreciation for aesthetics, and are becoming dull and uninteresting.
We see it in art in which minimalistic design any kindergartner could do passes for ' brilliant'. . .
We see it in modern music without melody or coherent meaningful lyrics, in which tuneless rap passes for music. . .
We see it in our movies in which special effects, gratuitous profanity, sex, violence takes the place of great acting, strong story lines, sympathetic character development.
I won't judge Cracker Barrel for also hiring unimaginative, dull, flat executives and advertisers. That's probably the only choices they have.
But I think most people who are at all intelligent hate it. I know I do.
It's a restaurant we visit a lot as it is close to our home, does have a wide variety of menu offerings, generally provides good service and decent food, and is more affordable than many other full service restaurants. Its a restaurant. One I occasion a couple/few times a year.
Not worth taking the time to hate but otherwise, I understand your point.
