These are all highly respected doctors and researchers in biochemistry and microbiology.
That is no substitute for being a multiple casino bankrupt and faded reality-tv performer when it comes to matters of medical science and public health.
I don't wear one nor will I start to wear one. There is proof beyond doubt when you look at the virus and contrast it with pore spaces in the fabric of masks. All the rest is just the liberal media, politics, agenda, and propaganda.
The virus isn't just floating around in a vapor cloud. It is in droplets. The masks stop the droplets. You aren't risking yourself by not wearing the mask, you are selfishly risking others.
If masks and lockdowns work why are we supposedly seeing spike number 3 all around the world?
Second wave, which every scientist in the world predicts, and which Trump denied would happen. If masks don''t why is the rate of infection, illness and death in jurisidictions with mask mandates, so much lower than those without?
If they don't work, there is no harm in wearing a mask, but if they do work, there is great harm in not wearing one. Do no harm, wear the ******* mask. It's not a matter of freedom, and it's not political. It's a matter of common sense.
Lie.
What part of this is a lie? 6 of my daughter's co-workers tested positive, sending all 15 of her workgroup home for quarantine. She tested negative, and didn't get sick, but then she was mocked daily for never taking off her mask, and social distancing, and washing her hands. The people who mocked her and refused to wear masks unless required, were the ones who tested positive. She's picking up double shifts in their absence.
Common sense says "err on the side of caution". What does is cost you to wear a mast? Yes, they're a nuisance and they make my glasses fog up. But this is something I can do and I can control to help keep myself safe. I spent $4 on some washable cotton masks, and seldom go out other than shopping. I have a bubble with 6 other people in it, but we can't hang out during lockdown.
By this summer, we'll be ready for the new normal. I strongly suspect that masks will continue to be a part of lives for years to come.
I am weeks away from my vaccination. I think I can do this until then.
