Like I said, I'm so glad both of my conservative parents, in their 70s, are smart enough to get fully vaccinated.

People make choices based on available information from sources they trust. In this case, some people are trusting Tucker Carlson and Newsmax over actual Virologists and the medical community.

The Republican party has an agenda to make Biden look like a failure by exacerbating the pandemic by encouraging their fearful, gun-toting base to fear the vaccine, thereby causing more deaths (of mostly the elderly that they see as as a drain on the federal budget anyway) and African-Americans, whom we have disgustingly seen disdain for by posters in this very thread.

We are the fattest developed nation. Our media pushes fast food, soda and alcohol. During the virus we shut down the gyms and had people order food and watch Netflix. The average American gained 29 pounds. The virus kills the old and unhealthy.

I got the virus in March 2020. I have donated platelets to help others and did so until June 2021 when the Red Cross shut down the program.

Logical people treated the virus logically.

Now conservative Mississippi has shot to the top of the state death rankings, with Louisiana and Alabama not far behind. Biden's 2020 margin of victory in the three key states of Wisconsin, Arizona, and Georgia combined was only about 44,000 votes. Something like 53,000 people have already died in those three states — and it seems safe to assume the people dying there and in other swing states are disproportionately Republicans.

That's not true. The CDC's preliminary 2020 report shows the the total deaths increased by
over 572,000 over 2019:
