Court upholds a persons right to legally resist an illegal arrest.

These folks think that blacks are automatically within their rights to mouth off at cops and fight them when they try to put handcuffs on them.....yet WE'RE the ones who are attacking cops.

People on the left feel there should be no authority over them. They can do whatever the F they want and nobody can say a word.

All across the country cities are having a hard time filling police positions. It's responsible for violent crime increasing in all major cities; that and leftist DA's that give crimimals a slap on the hand or nothing at all.

It was not too long ago getting a job as a police officer was nearly impossible. For one or two job positions hundreds of people would apply. A lot of people wanted to be a cop. Today some cities get less than a dozen applications for a police job, and most if not all of them won't be able to pass one of the exams. That's exactly what's happening in my suburb.

When could the police temporarily detain you for investigation?
• If the officer believes that you match the description of the suspect of a
crime.
• You are pulled over by an officer for some type of traffic violation.
• If the officer believes that you are committing a crime.

Arrest
A police officer may arrest you for probable cause or for an existing warrant.
Probable cause means that it is probable that a crime was committed and
probable that you committed it. As part of the arrest, the officer has a right to
search you.
If an officer asks you questions about a crime you are suspected of committing
(even if you are not under arrest), you have a legal right not to answer the
questions. Tell the officer, as clearly as you can, that you want a lawyer.
When could you be arrested?
• An officer sees you breaking into a business and stealing property.
• You have a warrant for your arrest.
• The officer believes there is enough evidence to charge you with a crime.
• You have been accused of a domestic assault.
• Officers have a warrant to search your home and they find evidence of
drug possession or sale such as rolling papers, scales, baggies, or other
drug paraphernalia.

No, Detention and arrest, two different things....

youre off topic,,
go start your own thread,,

cops dont have authority over you unless you've committed a crime,,

Tell 'em you know your rights and don't open the window.

Another meaningless statement. We are discussing a specific situation. A situation where the police are insisting on violating your rights.

With the Supreme Court strengthening the rights of individuals to be armed if the police continue to insist it's only a matter of time before one of them get shot. Seems far more reasonable and sane for us to make sure the police are fully training concerning what they can and can not do.

These deputies had a warrant from a judge to arrest this guy.

If he was violating the protective order. He was not. I know my breath is wasted on you but whatever.

He has a criminal history. He fights with the police and they had to tase him to complete the arrest. What are we holding the police accountable for anyway?

Violating our civil rights. Who did the court side with?

Tell it to the judge, Maam.....

Are you claiming that they are not trained?

It many times seems that way.
Well, you don't get the 'cream of the crop' when good officers are quitting in droves because of lack of public support due to false allegations of racism, law enforcement not allowing them to do their jobs, cops being attacked for no reason, BLM rioting, revolving door courts, etc.
