So say the are conflicts along the Russian border with Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. Ethnic Russians in the Baltic states are persecuted and ethnically cleansed out of the Baltic states.

There's a huge Russian buildup along the border.

Russia invades.

Would Europe do anything?

If Europe did do something, could they stop the Russians from taking over the Baltics?

With Biden anything is possible when it comes to shit shows we never imagined possible.

Russia could probably get away with a lot before major nations would intervene.

They are members of NATO. NATO nations would be obligated to come to their defense. No excuses allowed. It isn't even subject to debate.

Defense can be different. If, say, Lithuanians (or other Europeans) don't want to commit suicide fighting against the Russians conventionally, why the USA should commit suicide fighting against the Russians nucleary?

Treaties have been broken in the pass.

I don't think Europe has a stomach for war these days.
