...the vote for President would go to the House of Representatives.
But not before a new Congress has been sat....

...the vote for President would go to the House of Representatives.
Unlikely. If anything, Johnson will pull some Republican support from Trump. If Johnson does well, Clinton will likely win easily.
The only way Hillary loses is if Trump drops out and endorses Johnson.
Despite all of Trumps missteps lately, Trump is right there neck and neck in FL, OH, IA and NV (Trump will take NC, GA and MO) and if Clinton carried NH, MI, PA and other blue leaning close states. HOWEVER, if Gary Johnson pulls and upset and wins NM (he is very popular there and Clinton is not), the the race is 268 Clinton, 265 Trump and Johnson 5. No candidate would have the 270 votes needed. Therefore...
If Gary Johnson Can Win His Home State He Could Be Elected President
...the vote for President would go to the House of Representatives. Now Republicans hate Trump but they will not vote for her or Johnson over Trump. Even if a few did, the GOP has a sizable enough majority to lose a few turncoats.
IF this happened the left would go nutz. We would have riots and so much descent it could spiral to a civil war or at least minor confrontation.
Could there be a coup attempt? Absolutely!
Hillary still wins.
If Johnson had been the republican nominee he still would have lost.
Johnson wouldn't have ever been the Republican nominee. This was the Republicans election to lose and, due to their continuing implosion/civil war, they lost it to one of the most distrusted candidates in our lifetime.Hillary still wins.
If Johnson had been the republican nominee he still would have lost.
Potential doesn't equal results. Unfortunately, Johnson is polling at less than 10% in the majority of polls.Gary Johnson could climb higher than Hillary and Trump if he gets in debates and does well.. major game changer

Thanks I didn't know that.the House may choose "none of the above" and go with someone else.
Nope, the House must choose from the top three electoral vote candidates. 12th Amendment.
You may very well be correct....... and off topic.Despite all of Trumps missteps lately, Trump is right there neck and neck in FL, OH, IA and NV (Trump will take NC, GA and MO) and if Clinton carried NH, MI, PA and other blue leaning close states. This election will be a landslide for Clinton.
The topic is the question of whether Johnson could throw the race to the House .. but unknown to people who know nothing about politics .. this race isn't even close .. with Clinton leading even in red states.
Johnson will not be a factor in the outcome.
If you are unable to participate in intelligent conversation, please go outside and shoot baskets.
P.S. Nobody cares about your political predictions.
Maybe you think I came here to talk to your dumb ass.
Wrong.
If you don't like my posts scary man .. then ignore them.
Simple.
You wouldn't know intelligent conversation if you tripped over it.
Hot? Nutjobs will take shots, but I doubt we'll have open civil war in the streets....by 2020 --- most all things will be MUCH worse if Johnson/Weld is not the choice. And the partisan war will start going hot.

LOL, you and Jillian make quite a pair.
Even if it's 10 times, it'll still be lame compared to the 1960s. Today's kids are wimps. No matter who wins the divisions in this country are too great to expect the nation to hold together. Whether we have civil war in the streets will depend on whether you think that Milwaukee, Ferguson and Baltimore are included in the definition of blood in the streets. How about times 10?
What you will see is a loss of general civility. The streets will have the same level of civility as the Internet. The uprisings of Milwaukee will be more common and involve many more ethnic splinters.
A civil war would be better, cleaner, what we are brewing could go on for more than 100 years.
Hillary still wins.

LOL!!!
Johnson is a decent guy with a good record as governor. Johnson doesn't have dirt, he isn't "racist," and he has a documented track record of controlling spending and creating jobs.
Hillary would lose huge if the race was with her vs. any decent qualified American.
Hillary is a monster, a narcissistic kleptocratic liar and crook and just about everyone in the US knows it. Half of her current support is just anti-Trump
You democrats were brutal to blacks back then.....now you just shackle them with the chains of soft bigotry of low expectations......Even if it's 10 times, it'll still be lame compared to the 1960s.No matter who wins the divisions in this country are too great to expect the nation to hold together.
