Schumer names coronavirus czar
candidates in plea to White House
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer(D-N.Y.) offered candidates for a potential czar to oversee the production and disbursement of medical equipment during a call to White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows on Sunday night, a person familiar with the call confirmed to The Hill.
Schumer repeated his request to Meadows to have President Trump fully invoke the Defense Production Act (DFA) as he suggested names for a military official he thought could be appointed to oversee the production and distribution of medical supplies and equipment that states across the country have asked the federal government for aid in acquiring.
Schumer’s call to Meadows follows the senator’s public feuding with Trump last week over the Democrat’s call for the administration to take further action in its response to the coronavirus pandemic by fully invoking the DPA and appointing an official as a czar.

'CZARS'?
"Technically just "advisers" to the President, the czar system, which has been around since Nixon, actually exploded during the George W. Bush reign. Dubya pushed legislation through Congress which grants his advisers access to confidential information formally available only to those with Senate confirmation. Since the czars work within the West Wing, they enjoy almost total immunity from any accountability to Congress under the claim of executive privilege.
Having unelected, unaccountable "czars" running federal agencies and doling out taxpayer dollars is clearly unconstitutional."
-- Constitutionality of White House "Czars" Questioned
President Obama has between 30 and 44 'Czars' ... 1/3rd of them being hold-overs from the Bush administration. There are 2 key pieces of information here:
1. 'Advisors', or 'Czars', NOT appointed by Congress but who are actively running agencies, spending tax dollars / doling out resources / doing anything other than ADVISING (not making decisions / taking action) is UN-Constitutional.
2. 'Advisors to the President', or 'Czars', are appointed by the PRESIDENT.
-- Sorry, Chucky, just as Barry (or any other President dating back to Nixon) did not allow the opposing party to pick / decide who would be their advisors (or 'Czars'), you and your Impeachment-focused, TDS-suffering don't get to choose who the President picks or does not pick to be an advisor (or 'mole').
