Would you be interested in helping me re-write the United States Constitution just as an exercise and an experiment? The work would start on March 1, 2018.

Our current Constitution is fine.

Now that DJT is the POTUS we should get another 2 to 4 really good SCOTUS justices.

With the "nuclear option" (coined by Trent KKK Lott) in effect now there will be no problem for the next 2 years ratifying Trump's nominations.

There is even a chance that Roe will be overturned and then the States will get their 10th Amendment rights back on abortions.

Abortion is primarily a religious issue however the States reserve that right to decide in their legislatures whether they want to tolerate that abomination of infanticide within their jurisdictions.

Then vote no. :)

We almost had a constitutional crisis with Scalia dying and Hillary running for POTUS. But we dodged that bullet.

Anyone wanting to be the first female POTUS should not spend her entire life lying about her husband's extramarital affairs, her email server, her botch of Benghazi, and her pay to play foundation.

I voted no.

I don't judge Hillary about the emails. I have deleted way more emails than she did.

You mean now that Gorsuch will stop the Supreme Court from trying to do it?

You have a mode of governance that will always protect the property rights of the privileged aristocracy, the people are simply commodities to be exploited at home just as they are abroad.

The left's dream has always been a newer more flexible Constitution rather than that stodgy old thing we have had to contend with for the last 250+ years. "Bill of Rights"? We don't have to give you no stinking Bill of Rights.

Exactly, the unsubstantial people get no "rights" in america.

While there are some parts I would like written in clearer language, and I doubt we need the 3rd any longer, and the 2nd and 14th need clarification ,

no, it needs no major changes

The 4th needs enforced, that means repealing "The Patriot Act"

I would just so love to kick Bush right in his ass. Repeatedly.

I'd say get rid of the 4th and 5th Amendments. They are outdated. We aren't a nation full of English criminals anymore. Cooperating with law enforcement is something that a lot of Americans view as a good thing in this day and age. I can understand why it was a political saavy move in 1789 but I don't think it translates today.
