President Barack Obama initially indicated he would not fight the release of the photographs. He reversed course in May and authorized an appeal to the high court.

The president said he was persuaded that disclosure could further incite violence in Afghanistan and Iraq and endanger U.S. troops there.

Photo's like that should only be released during a republican administration and never during a democrat administration, right Mr Obama?

Absolutely it is the right decision as it is best for those who guard our security. I hope all note how easy it would be to use this as a talking point against BHO yet most on the right have priorities above partisan talking points.

But, the hypocrisy of it no longer being a talking point of the left is a gold mine.
