At best a wannabe Mussolini.
In a 1990 interview with Playboy magazine:

What were your other impressions of the Soviet Union?

I was very unimpressed. Their system is a disaster. What you will see there soon is a revolution; the signs are all there with the demonstrations and picketing. Russia is out of control and the leadership knows it. That’s my problem with Gorbachev. Not a firm enough hand.

You mean firm hand as in China?

When the students poured into Tiananmen Square, the Chinese government almost blew it. Then they were vicious, they were horrible, but they put it down with strength. That shows you the power of strength. Our country is right now perceived as weak … as being spit on by the rest of the world–

Why is Gorbachev not firm enough?

I predict he will be overthrown, because he has shown extraordinary weakness. Suddenly, for the first time ever, there are coal-miner strikes and brush fires everywhere- which will all ultimately lead to a violent revolution. Yet Gorbachev is getting credit for being a wonderful leader and we should continue giving him credit, because he’s destroying the Soviet Union. But his giving an inch is going to end up costing him and all his friends what they most cherish-their jobs.

Trump's Comment About Chinese Government at Tiananman Square: The 'Strongman' America Needs?

Godwin's Law.

Godwin's law (or Godwin's rule of Nazi analogies)[1][2] is an Internet adage asserting that "As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches 1"[2][3]—that is, if an online discussion (regardless of topic or scope) goes on long enough, sooner or later someone will compare someone or something to Hitler or Nazism.

There are many corollaries to Godwin's law, some considered more canonical (by being adopted by Godwin himself)[3] than others.[1] For example, there is a tradition in many newsgroups and other Internet discussion forums that once such a comparison is made, the thread is finished and whoever mentioned the Nazis has automatically lost whatever debate was in progress.[8] This principle is itself frequently referred to as Godwin's law.

Good Brown Shirter.
Your asshole candidate praises the Chinese government for what they did in Tiananmen Square. Maybe he is a Mao wannabe.

And on to the personal attacks. You are batting a thousand. Any chance you'd like to speak disparagingly about my mother so you can hit the hat-trick of "The absolutely worst ways to lose an internet debate"?

Here comes the wave of Trump shaming. :D

Not gonna stop us from rallying behind him. Jews can publish as much anti-Trump propaganda as they wish. :)

Doesn't really apply when someone opens a thread with a Hitler comparison.

If the thread makes it past page 100, then repost...

I've noticed that the left has employed this tactic quite well in the last 15 years. They no longer go after the politician but make implications that the people voting for them are somehow inferior to everyone else. We seen that during the Bush years when American(s) were somehow really stupid. We seen that with Sarah Palin. It seems to work so I think this will be there bread and butter play for quite a while.

Good point. BUT, Trump's candidacy IS a long running topic of debate on our message board going to thousands of posts if combined. Godwin's rule applies.

Ya gotta give ol' Adolph credit. He's had more influence on American politics than any one person since he blew his brains out.

Agreed, they recently published an article brandishing Trump supporters as 'middle aged, poor, white men'. Let's say we concede all white men are 'middle aged, poor and dumb', Trump still has support from minorities as well. They forgot to mention that. Now the strategy will be to keep spamming about how Trump is the next Hitler and his supporters are Nazi's. With the entertainment media brainwashing program over the decades, this will work in some ways but I don't believe it will out do the momentum in his favor.
