Condoleeza rice is smart but she's more slick than intelligent. Both she and Colin Powell served as Bush's house ******* whose primary duty was to facilitate Bush's agenda by skillfully lying. Both were rewarded with exalted postions in government. The problem is the Congress is too corrupted to make a motivated effort to investigate and prosecute the Bush Administration, which was a massive criminal enterprise. They allow professional liars like Rice, Powell, Yoo, Addington and others to virtually spit in the face of questioners during critical hearings. In fact they allow criminals like Karl Rove to demonstrate absolute contempt by simply refusing to appear and testify.

A proficient and motivated prosecutor could easily waltz Rice into a corner and either obtain essential testimony from her or trap her into perjured testimony and convict her of that crime, as was done with "Scooter" Libby.
