Well sorta, "Police on Sunday afternoon said they believe the gunman went in and started shooting, hitting the three victims. As he was on his way out, somebody at the bar shot him."

Incident was over with apparently, and gunman was dropped only after hitting 3 people. So the CCW didn't prevent the rampage, or end it, it simply avenged the incident.

As long as the shooter is dead or seriously injured who cares?
As for not ending it, unless you're clairvoyant or have inside info as to all that transpired, we have no idea if the shooter was going for more ammo, another firearm (his may have jammed) or was just getting closer to the exit for a faster getaway after doing more damage. Shit, we can surmise all day long.......
