Democrats feel that people fleeing danger and asking for asylum should be helped. Republicans don't. Even if it's lawful.
Democrats feel stripping parents of their children, even breastfeeding babies is evil. Republicans see it as good policy.
Democrats believe in helping those with pre existing conditions. Republicans don't.
Democrats believe in healthcare for the poor and the middle class. Republicans don't.
Democrats believe in a woman's right to decide what's right for her own body. Republicans don't.
Democrats believe that billionaires and corporations making money hand over fist shouldn't be given tax breaks. Republicans feel they should.
Democrats believe in affordable education. Republicans don't.
Democrats believe in school lunches for poor children and daycare so parents can work. Republicans don't.
Democrats believe in gay rights and voting rights. Republicans don't.
The line is drawn. Where is the compromise?
Republicans let CHIP lapse so use sick and disabled children for bargaining. Mitch McConnell even put out a Tweet about it:
Republicans didn't even use that for bargaining. They just made it a "choice". Either you help these people or these people.
So where do you compromise? With people so willing to hurt others?
