Senators Biden & Kennedy
With news of the sudden death of Justice Antonin Scalia, the Obama White House and Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton are already staking a position that President Obama, and not his successor, should appoint Scalia’s replacement. But it’s useful to remember that one member of the Obama administration – Vice President Joe Biden – once had a very different opinion on the Senate’s ability to block a president’s nominee at all costs.

FLASHBACK: Joe Biden Wrote the Obstructionist Playbook on ‘Borking’ a President’s Nominee
The Lion of the Senate departed for that special hell reserved for scum like him, while the other maggot could very-well end up with the Democrat party’s nomination. There is no better reason than Ted Kennedy and Joe Biden to repeal the XVII Amendment.
Without the XVII Amendment there would never have a been “Senate Administration” like the one the country got in 2009. The press decided that a senator was going to be president. So the public was given the choice of the Chicago sewer rat, Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden or John McCain. If you disagree please explain why so many senators have been running this country since 2009 were it not for the media.
NOTE: The Senate will fight President Ted Cruz to the death even though he is a senator. On the other hand, the Senate will embrace Senator Marco “Amnesty for Illegals” Rubio. (The Gang of Eight consisted of eight senators.)
Media influence
Print, and television mouths, protected Biden and Kennedy when they invented “Borking.” Today, they are preparing to frighten Senate conservative’s out of blocking Taqiyya the Liar’s nominee:
Bork's name became a symbol of conservative grievance, and a new verb — to "bork" — was born, defined in the Oxford English Dictionary as "to defame or vilify a person systematically."

Robert Bork's Supreme Court Nomination 'Changed Everything, Maybe Forever'
Here’s one for Americans to chew on.
Associate Justice Anthony “Swing Vote” Kennedy succeeded Lewis Powell after the Senate refused to confirm Robert Bork. A wag might say that Biden, Ted Kennedy, and media got a man they approved of. A conservative can make the case that the country would have been better off had Robert Bork been confirmed.
Bottom line: Look for Taqiyya the Liar ‘s political hack to sail through the confirmation hearing.
Finally, I will remind everybody that another long-serving senator, Republican Orrin Hatch, NOMINATED Ruth Ginsberg:
. . . let’s also not forget the historical context. In 1993, then-President Clinton reached out to Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah), a leading senator on the Judiciary Committee, even though Republicans were in the minority. Clinton solicited suggested nominees for a Supreme Court vacancy, and Hatch recommended Ginsburg. Clinton agreed and Ginsburg sailed through.

You can count on good old Hatch once again helping out the sewer rat:
Guffaw. A Utah Republican, Hatch was one of the biggest, fattest facilitators of that lawlessness from the first days of the reign of Obama. Beltway amnesia among entrenched incumbents is a chronic disorder.
“I like Barack Obama and want to help him if I can,” Hatch declared in January 2009, just weeks before the Senate voted on President Obama’s attorney general nominee, career corruptocrat Eric Holder.
