Trump beat the shit out of Putin. See easy to type.
24 hours :(

  • A diplomatic win for Putin: After years of being largely isolated by Western nations since the 2022 invasion of Ukraine, Putin received the red carpet treatment on US soil. The summit presented an image of a major world power and a leader on equal footing with the US president.
  • No concessions from Putin: The Russian leader left the summit without making any major concessions regarding the war in Ukraine. He continued to insist that the "root causes" of the conflict must be eliminated for peace to be achieved, a position that would effectively require Ukraine's capitulation.
  • Failure to achieve a ceasefire: Trump had publicly pushed for a ceasefire, but no such agreement was reached. This outcome left Putin free to continue his military advances in Ukraine, with Russian forces launching new attacks soon after the meeting.
  • Trump walked away with little: Despite Trump calling the meeting "very successful" and claiming "great progress" was made, he failed to deliver on his primary goal of securing a ceasefire. He was left to express frustration with Russia's continued aggression after the summit.
  • Propaganda coup for Russia: Russian state media was euphoric over the outcome, with Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova noting, "For years they have been talking about the isolation of Russia, and today they saw the red carpet that greeted the Russian president".
A genuine ASS KICKING

It's amazing how attentively and with excruciating detail the neo-leftists are pouring over Trump's body looking for anything to medically disqualify him, yet they never once noticed that Joe Biden was essentially braindead for his entire term.

To negotiate a peace treaty means you need to negotiate with both parties. Rolling out the red carpet was a courtesy, nothing more. Start off being hostile and the chance for peace goes to zero.

Vance said that Putin did make concessions. Negotiations are continuing...

A ceasefire isn't required for a peace deal. Not getting one isn't a big deal.

Putin considers Ukraine to be in Russia's "sphere-of-influence". Getting Ukraine from Russia is a very heavy lift. Without Trump as a lead negotiator NATO would be floundering to solve the war.

So what? Trump is trying the "carrot" before using the "stick". Russians do not support the war no matter what state TV says.

The guy's almost 80. We all knew he was old when we voted for him.

So, thanks for the info, but we got this covered.

stop making excuses for the ***** grabbing grifter

You realize that Trump was talking about how golddiggers and fangirls treat famous men, right?

When you talk like this, it is like you are pretending to be dumb.

Its not news until it is. Trump is 78? As the story said, presidents experience rapid aging from performing the job.
I noticed the bags under Trump's eyes. He's obviously not getting enough sleep.

That said, Trump's mind appears fine, he handles hostile pressers with grace, unlike the senile POS, Joe Biden.
