I find myself getting "old". I see or hear things the young kids like and I don't get it. It's not just this it's the music they like. LOL.

Their music is objectively bad. Not every single song or performer, but most. Why? Its because most of the mainstream music is rap, which isnt the problem, its the fact that they ALL use software to make their music. Why is that bad? Because when they are making beats, they are basic as **** and they dont have the interesting fills that a real drummer would create. They use autotune because they arent singers, so they dont come up with haunting or beautiful sounds. Every song is in 4/4 time with little to no variation in the super simple musical notes coming from their push button synthesizer, played by a guy who isnt a pianist. They do not have book knowledge of song crafting. They just wing it and they end up with cookie cutter songs that all sound alike.

Software made it possible for non master musicians' to make and mass produce music. Its a ******* curse.

I appreciate people who sing great, write their own songs and can play an instrument. Doesn't hurt if they are pretty too
