All depends on whether uverse is available in your area. Keeping AT&T at bay is the only thing comcast cares about as far as competition. If it is available in your area, they will give you a much better rate to stay with comcast.

I don’t even use comcast. I just moved. I didn’t use it before moving either. But I think that attitude is applicable to many such providers. And I think that mock ad was not just right on point but quite funny. A comedienne once said (in posing as an operator for a telephone monopoly) “we don’t care because we don’t have to.” Same basic joke now, but with a more accurate vernacular.
