Coloradomtnman Is Leaving!

But, only temporarily. And don't let me steal any of Bootneck's thunder here.

My girlfriend and I have been saving up for a couple of years for this dream trip.

...

Have fun! Make sure you sleep in separate beds so you don't go to Hell!

And no sex in public places. Or checking porn out of the library. :eusa_shhh:

Oh, good point. Since Coloradomtnman is not one of the 'beautiful people', having sex in public places will definitely make people ill.

National Parks are public places, aren't they? Wilderness is public, too....

I got WiFi, I don't need to go to the library when I want to look at porn; I can just go to Starbucks!

Hey! That wasn't what I meant. :doubt:

I don't know what his girlfriend looks like. She might be beautiful. In that case, he could just wear a bag over his head or his entire body and that would work.

When they say "expose yourself to the West", they mean something entirely different.

Not this:

Now that's just mean. You know he's a Marine.

Therefore, gotta use a flag, not a bag. ;)

(I'll give you apology reps, CMM, but it was too good to pass up.)

Hey! I might not be good-looking (though that's a matter of opinion, and if that's your opinion, you're wrong), but I got a nice ass. I'm like a white guy with a black man's ass. Literally.

I used to date a guy with a black man's ass!
Black girls used to check him out all the time.:eusa_eh:

My girlfriend and I have been saving up for a couple of years for this dream trip.

We bought an old rv for $1400, put a lot of money into fixing it up, loading it up with our climbing gear and next Tuesday we're taking off on a six month tour of the West. We're stopping in beautiful Leadville, Colorado for a couple of days to say goodbye to our friends there, then driving through the Rockies, across Utah and then taking Highway 50 (The Loneliest Highway) through Nevada, stopping at Great Basin National Park (the least visited National Park in the lower 48) on the way to Lake Tahoe, then heading south to Yosemite National Park for a week or so, over the Sierra Nevadas to Mono Lake, south on Hwy 395 just east of the Sierras (stopping at the many natural hot springs in the area) to Bishop, California for a week of climbing, then visiting Death Valley National Park, continuing south hitting a few climbing areas here and there, before eventually arriving in Joshua Tree National Park to spend the winter climbing in 70 degree temps. We'll be taking a few forays from Joshua Tree to Mexico, Las Vegas, LA, San Diego and with a good possibility of heading to Fort Bragg, California (Northern California coast) for Thanksgiving with friends and returning via the Coast Highway and visiting the Haigh-Ashbury in San Fran (we're Dead Heads) on the way. Around April we'll be driving to Kalispell, Montana (just west of Glacier National Park) to see if we like it and maybe settling down to live there.

So, I won't be on USMB quite as often, but I'll check in every once in a while to make sure the Right Wingnuts and Christian Extremists haven't taken over and to post a few pictures and see how everyone is doing.

P.S. Don't worry, strollingbones, we'll be safe.

Sure, rub it in (says the mom who had to take her 21 year old son who is still in diapers out of his group home). No more freedom for me for awhile.

Oh well, have a great time........send pictures

He isn't?

Coloradomtnman is one of the beautiful people in my opinion, he's a good guy and a hoot!

Have fun CMM, I am sooooooooooooo jealous of your adventure! Good for the both of you, and keep in touch my friend!

Have you no shame, are you so irresponsible? Marry the woman than take her on a trip. Make a honest woman out of her.

It takes two to tango.

Perhaps she's taking advantage of innocent li'l CMM. Betcha she just wants him for his body. And his mind. And his sense of humor. :eusa_shhh:

Edit: And his beautiful face too. :D

Sounds like a good time bro. You'll be gallivanting through quite a bit of my old stomping grounds coming across hwy 50 through Nevada and then up to Tahoe.

And Kalispell, it's real pretty up there, and I swear I'd live in Montana myself if I could afford it. If you don't have deep pockets full of cash, you're going to find Montana an expensive state to reside in. Finding a decent place to rent is pretty tough, and you don't get squat for a place to live aside from a tiny little one bedroom cabin on a tiny little corner lot for under $150K. It's ridiculous... not much better than Cal. But, I didn't mean to burst your bubble. Give it a look anyway. You just might get lucky and find something you can afford and are happy with. In fact I hope you do.

Stay safe and have fun pard.... and, oh yeah, don't sleep with yur girl friend, or you'll go to hell...

Make sure you take lots of water so when the antique RV breaks down, you don't end up like Chevy:

Man!!! I envy you!!! That is the kind of trip me and my bestest half talk about all the time! Load up us, the furkids, and enough supplies and just take off for a month or two and travel around! Have a wonderful, SAFE, trip and please share pictures when you return!!

How the hell do you post pictures to a host site and then find them to post here? Anyone know how to do that, cause I can't figure it out....

I use photobucket, just open an account. Then download your pic to it. Then, hit the first button on the bottom to your left (there are 4 of them) and it will copy the pic for you.

Then come here and just hit "paste" in this square and "wala" your pic is posted!
