Colorado Democrats Giddy About Plan to Give Comprehensive Health, Dental, Vision Care to Illegal Aliens

Well then, put it to the citizens to vote on how their tax dollars are being spent.

Seems simple enough to allow the "intelligent, caring people" a vote on their schools being inundated, their taxes increasing and their fellow citizens facing crimes such as rape and murder.
The system is run by the people's choice of Representatives to do what is best for them.

Telling people what to do in another state is inappropriate in my humble opinion. I have been to several meetings in their beautiful, mountainous state, and my impression of the people of Colorado is that they are quite capable of making serious decisions by themselves.

It's not "the people" making decisions. It's leftwing loons deciding to spend other people's money.

let the taxpayers decide by putting it to a vote. A radical idea understanding that politicians always do what is best for voters,

I suppose this can be a case of, sometimes people get what they deserve. $millions of dollars will be taken from taxpayers to fund the costs of Healthcare benefits for illegals.

"Colorado Democrats are celebrating a law that will go into effect on January 1 that will extend free Medicaid coverage to pregnant illegal aliens, as well as migrant children. The taxpayer-funded program (aren't they all?) opens state Medicaid funding for prenatal and postpartum care, physical, dental, vision, and mental health care, with an initial price tag of up to $51 million in costs to Colorado taxpayers"

This is what they voted for. Enjoy the show.

I know it's just a fantasy, but wouldn't it be hilarious if the vast majority of Coloradan's suddenly moved out of the state en masse, leaving their state government with no money to bilk from the public to give to the illegals.
