I guess they can try and bill these illegals. However, if they don't have any money (very likely) or just don't want to pay (even more likely), what can the ERs do?

Above is what the ER's CAN do. What the ER's do is bill Medicaid, which uses federal funds to pay the ER's.

Which means . . . federal funds pay for healthcare for illegal aliens.

I thought that was against the law? Someone needs to be arrested!

Oh, that is very simple. Turn them over to ICE so they can be sent to whatever country they have been sending remitances to, instead of buying healthcare policies.

Also, I know you are being facetious, however, I personally have always been saying that illegals (and even legal ones), siphon wealth out of the country and send it to some other countries. This is a huge problem because it drains money out of America.

I'm not being facetious. Station one ICE agent at five different ER's on five different nights in a week - random. In eight hours, he or she can apprehend up to twenty illegals if that many show up. At the end of the shift, a bus makes a circuit around the ER's in Operation Patch 'em and Snatch 'em, to pick up the detainees.

One of two things will happen (or a combination of both):

1) Hundreds of illegal aliens per day, known to be drains on limited resources who push up the cost of healthcare for Americans and legal immigrants, will be cheaply apprehended for deportation,

or,

2) Illegal aliens will stop going to ER's for primary care.
