CNN Says Everyone Commits Mortgage Fraud

Trump didn't commit fraud.

His properties were correctly appraised and the banks agreed with the appraisals and the loan conditions.

However AG James claimed the property she bought and moved a relative into to be her primary residence to qualify for a loan.

That's fraud. That's no mistake. Isn't she supposed to be an officer of the law?

Officer of the court.

This should be a serious matter.

Depends on evidence not available to us.

Certainly could be.

Don’t worry. Evidence or not, if there is a Democrat on the jury, they won’t convict. That is the way they roll.

Kind of like how if there’s evidence or not, SCOTUS will let Trump do whatever he wants.

CNN is full of shit. It was wrong when Trump did it, and it's wrong if she did it.

Both should pay the appropriate price. We know Trump won't, as usual.
You are full of shit for making this claim.
What Trump did is nothing like what Laticia did. Nothing.
What Trump did is something real estate people actually really do all the time.
What Laticia did is NOT what people do all the time, and she did it multiple times.

Well, because what James did was minor. Her niece filled out one form incorrectly while she had power of attorney, and that form was not submitted as part of the final mortgage package.

As opposed to Trump committing millions of dollars in fraud getting loans he wasn't really entitled to.
Making excuses for one person that breaks the same law as the other reveals you have no shred of integrity or decency.

Yep, no one is above the law...

If they want bring her to court and prove their case...

She has some really good defence arguments...

Trump's public comments about arresting her looks like vindictive charges against a person as retaliation for him getting convicted... That is very hard to refute because they have his own words directing Bondi...
Karma's a *****, eh? LOL

It wasn't. And if the property was worth more, that was actually GOOD for the bank. They weren't loaning the full amount.

The supposed fraud is that on one form, she said it was going to be her primary residence, because that form was filled out by her niece, who was going to actually live there.

COMMIEjoeblow spinning and twisting his arse off as always, especially recently. TDS is rising? Losing any credibility he ever had.

Much more than a a typo by a niece? Lol! Fraud committed in many states "by the niece". Clear Flat out fraud in all cases.

beginning in March 2025, Letitia James engaged in years of mortgage fraud and housing regulation violations in connection with her 5-unit Brooklyn apartment building.

James obtained lower interest rates and closing costs by falsely representing her building as having fewer than five units, a key threshold for obtaining more favorable residential lending terms and avoiding more expensive commercial rates and closing costs.

In the Commonwealth of Virginia, Leticia James purchased three homes, which have all been identified as involving likely mortgage fraudulent activity. In Martinsville, Virginia, James purchased a foreclosure with her aunt and cousin in 2008, using a misspelling of her first name, perhaps to avoid scrutiny. However, no form of Leticia James’s name appeared on the mortgage deed, which is illegal, and she did not disclose the purchase in New York state disclosure filings as a candidate.

Like Shitfy and many DC crioks:

James falsely declared a property in Virginia at 604 Sterling Avenue which she co-purchased in 2023 with her niece as her primary residence, thereby obtaining lower interest rates.

The indictment says that “despite these representations, the Peronne Property was not occupied or used by JAMES as a secondary residence and was instead used as a rental property, renting the property of family of (3)”.

All seems minor to me compared to 100s' of billions in medical or USAID fraud. But if you target Trup ovrr an ACCEPTED appraisal value, loan repaid with interest...James off charts.

Wow!

How much did the banks lose due to this "fraud?"

Given the 43-year pattern of mortgage fraud I alleged against Letitia James in New York state and the Commonwealth of Virginia, I knew it was just a matter of time.

According to CNN she's guilty JoeBob!

So, this crime went from a hanging offense when Trump was accused to a nothingburger when James did it. I know the law is considered to be fluid to an extent, but this disparity is ridiculous
Let us not forget the fraud and tax evasion that Adam Schiff is guilty of as well.
