CNN is trying to make excuses for Letitia James who committed mortgage fraud while going after Donald Trump.

Apparently all of that "Nobody is above the law" mess was just nonsense.

They're still trying to say nobody is above the law, but Democrats increasingly are breaking the law and daring Trump to do something about it.

So when somebody in position of authority does, they blame it only on Trump and accuse him of acting the way they've been acting for years.

Typical Marxists.

Imagine an America without these treasonous back-stabbing Democrats. What a great place that would be to live in.

Never happened.

So, this crime went from a hanging offense when Trump was accused to a nothingburger when James did it. I know the law is considered to be fluid to an extent, but this disparity is ridiculous
If Dems didn't have double-standards, they'd have no standards at all.

Well, because what James did was minor. Her niece filled out one form incorrectly while she had power of attorney, and that form was not submitted as part of the final mortgage package.

As opposed to Trump committing millions of dollars in fraud getting loans he wasn't really entitled to.

Did whoever holds the mortgage get compensated fairly in James's case?

Did they only fund the value of the property, then yes they were fairly compensated.

Unlike Cheeto Hitler, who borrowed money on properties that were wildly misrepresented and got more money than he should have.

How do you figure if the property was purposely undervalued by James?

It wasn't. And if the property was worth more, that was actually GOOD for the bank. They weren't loaning the full amount.

The supposed fraud is that on one form, she said it was going to be her primary residence, because that form was filled out by her niece, who was going to actually live there.

CNN is full of shit. It was wrong when Trump did it, and it's wrong if she did it.

Both should pay the appropriate price. We know Trump won't, as usual.

James won’t be found guilty likely due to the jury pool. Democrats won’t convict one of their own, guilty or not.
