Not even close. The Democrats or MAGA? That description is indistinguishable.
Two sides of the same coin.

As a dumocrap? He is only popular among the dumocraps and a handful of old school establishment republicans.I'm just hoping Massie runs.
The dumocraps have spent 10 years pissing off white people, men, Christians, and are now in a war with the Jews, never once realizing that their votes are important. Getting them back might take another 10 years. Whoever thought Identity Politics was a good idea really screwed the dumocrap party.
Independent. Or Libertarian. Conservative voters need an option. As a dumocrap? He is only popular among the dumocraps and a handful of old school establishment republicans.
The two sides are very different:The Democrats or MAGA? That description is indistinguishable.
Two sides of the same coin.
The democrats appointed the dumbest woman on the p[lant to run for president. Why? Shes woman of color. DuhDem leadership didn't want this getting out, but CNN got their hands on it:
Read the DNC’s 2024 autopsy obtained by CNN
Top highlights will be coming out, of course, but this should be interesting.
The "Conclusion" page is left blank, which is pretty freakin' ironic.
Massie would never generate the interest necessary to generate the money needed to win a national election. He couldn't even win his district. His political career is over. Next stop, CNN.Independent. Or Libertarian. Conservative voters need an option.
Hopefully not. He's one the few on the national stage that I could vote for.Massie would never generate the interest necessary to generate the money needed to win a national election. He couldn't even win his district. His political career is over. Next stop, CNN.
Yes, they learned that the lost the election due to voter suppression and Russian collusion and Trump is Hitler.Hmm... did they learn ANYTHING yet?
They will blast Trump's inflation while totally ignoring their four year total 20% inflation under their watch. They will hammer affordability affordability affordability affordability while offering zero ways to acutally make things affordable. They will say that taxing the rich more will somehow make groceries and other home expenses more affordable. And, they lost in 2024 because of nonstop, "Orange man bad" and will continue using that.According to CNN, the report talks about getting away from Identity Politics and re-focusing on the middle class.
That would be a great idea. Can they actually DO it?
Replacing Kinzinger or hopefully Navarro.Massie would never generate the interest necessary to generate the money needed to win a national election. He couldn't even win his district. His political career is over. Next stop, CNN.
Yup. The democrat MO. When something doesn't work just go further with the same shit that didn't work.no ... they are pushing the identity politics crap even harder ..
Just a couple of days after the election I posted a poll on here asking:One thing that needs to be said is understanding why the dumocraps lost in 2024 is only half the equation. The other half is truly understanding why the GOP won in 2024. Dumocraps like to spin stuff so much it makes it impossible to understand the truth of why the GOP won, and to understand the truth about why they lost. Trump is not the reason the dumocraps lost. Trump is the reason the GOP won. Bad, unpopular policy decisions are why the dumocraps lost, and good policy decisions are why the GOP won. See how it works?
Unfortunately, both parties have the system rigged so that only one of the two of them can win the presidency. You need 270 electoral votes to win (out of 435). 270 is the figure just over 1/2.The conclusion is simple, "we will choose for our party leadership the candidate who our biggest donors demand we choose". Don't expect Harris not to be fighting to bring some ROI for her loss in 2024. Act II is quite possible.
Trump is viewed by the Establishment as a one time phenomenon and they only operate with one goal "ensure he abandons MAGA and fails so that we can get back in power". Both sides have the same objective really.
America definitely needs a permanent 3rd Party option based on the polling where both parties are largely unpopular by some margin.
Really amazing that today there have been a couple of threads now where posters I normally disagree with 99% of the time I can actually have an honest conversation with and even agree with them. Very refreshing. Maybe not all is completely lost.I honestly think Democrats have a failure of leadership unlike any time in their history. It was bad enough during the W. Bush years, stabilized during the Obama years, and they completely imploded after Clinton's loss in 2016, reaching it's nadir during the Biden administration, when the far left kooks took control while Biden was only semi-coherent.
They have not recovered and continue to have no direction, leadership, or strategy. When your platform rests on kids getting surgery to change their sex, normal people turn away in disgust, and feel as though someone like Donald Trump is your best option.
I really don't think democrats are capable of that.Oh lordy-lord....They have to start pandering to white people!
Progressives are working on that.Trump is not a true conservative by any means, he has straddled the center his whole life. If one thinks about it, the GOP was a dying party in 2016 and Trump was actually more of a third party candidate, like Bernie Sanders was. Trump knew the infrastructure of the GOP would get him farther, so he ran as a republican. MAGA, in my opinion, is a third party solution. The old establishment GOP is still rather dead as a party. Fast forward to 2026, and the dumocrap party is dying and needs a powerful, convincing third party candidate to take over the party.
And what does that do? He's not going to win, so Massie running could just mean electing democrats instead of republicans. That's the trouble with so called Libertarians. They just can't see the fact that they can't win, no matter what they do.I'm just hoping Massie runs.
