CNN releases the Democrats' post mortem

The dumocraps have spent 10 years pissing off white people, men, Christians, and are now in a war with the Jews, never once realizing that their votes are important. Getting them back might take another 10 years. Whoever thought Identity Politics was a good idea really screwed the dumocrap party.

The Democrats or MAGA? That description is indistinguishable.
Two sides of the same coin.
The two sides are very different:

The democrats are about to get rolled-back even more in 2028.

From their MSM propaganda networks and hi-tech oligarchs
to their organized stealing of $billions of taxpayer money

to their university leftist programming centers

to their CRT propaganda teachings in schools

to their "deep state" hold on the government

to their creeping attacks on family values & religious beliefs

to their lawless prosecutors

to their drug culture
, killed 400,000 Americans from drug overdoses in Biden's 4-years
to their "great replacement" operation

to their grip on school boards, calling parents “domestic terrorists”

to their tranny bullshit getting little kids butchered

to their warped views of the US military

to their vicious attacks on parental rights
to their voter fraud networks
to their hatred of religions, calling Catholics “domestic terrorists”
to their war on Christmas
to their hatred of the Founding Fathers
to their fake history and racism
to their drag shows in grade schools
to their late term abortions
to the FBI spying on Catholics
to their hatred of Patriotism, the American flag, and THE 4TH OF JULY
to biological “males” competing against girls
to prosecuting nuns (Dominican Sisters) running a cancer hospice for only allowing two genders, according to their religion

Republican policies by comparison:
Border closed
Biggest middle class tax cut in history
3 million illegals deported
crime down
drug deaths down 200,000 for Trump’s 4-years
More seats in the house for the GOP is coming redistricting now supports the GOP.
Dow and NASDAQ at record highs
Private sector job growth federal jobs dropping
Inflation under control
Iran problem about to be solved
Energy policies that are constructive not destructive
balance of power in the world shifted in favor of America
Manufacturing investments at record highs many companies leaving Europe and coming here to avoid green energy high costs.
Strongest military on the world.
America and Venezuela now an ally control most of the world’s oil supply
DEI dead, identity politics dead, climate change dead
Men not allowed in women’s bathrooms or in women’s sports
Gender absurdity dead except in CA
Hundreds of thousands of population fleeing democrats states to live in GOP states
Kamala Harris is the dem’s leading candidate for 2028

“In December, I announced we would shelve this report, and I meant what I said at the time that I didn’t think dwelling on 2024 or looking backwards so late in the game helped us to win elections". — Democratic National Committee Chair Ken Martin

How obtuse can one man be?

Dem leadership didn't want this getting out, but CNN got their hands on it:

Read the DNC’s 2024 autopsy obtained by CNN

Top highlights will be coming out, of course, but this should be interesting.

The "Conclusion" page is left blank, which is pretty freakin' ironic.
The democrats appointed the dumbest woman on the p[lant to run for president. Why? Shes woman of color. Duh

Massie would never generate the interest necessary to generate the money needed to win a national election. He couldn't even win his district. His political career is over. Next stop, CNN.
Hopefully not. He's one the few on the national stage that I could vote for.

According to CNN, the report talks about getting away from Identity Politics and re-focusing on the middle class.

That would be a great idea. Can they actually DO it?
They will blast Trump's inflation while totally ignoring their four year total 20% inflation under their watch. They will hammer affordability affordability affordability affordability while offering zero ways to acutally make things affordable. They will say that taxing the rich more will somehow make groceries and other home expenses more affordable. And, they lost in 2024 because of nonstop, "Orange man bad" and will continue using that.

One thing that needs to be said is understanding why the dumocraps lost in 2024 is only half the equation. The other half is truly understanding why the GOP won in 2024. Dumocraps like to spin stuff so much it makes it impossible to understand the truth of why the GOP won, and to understand the truth about why they lost. Trump is not the reason the dumocraps lost. Trump is the reason the GOP won. Bad, unpopular policy decisions are why the dumocraps lost, and good policy decisions are why the GOP won. See how it works?
Just a couple of days after the election I posted a poll on here asking:

did Harris lose

or

did Trump win.

The conclusion is simple, "we will choose for our party leadership the candidate who our biggest donors demand we choose". Don't expect Harris not to be fighting to bring some ROI for her loss in 2024. Act II is quite possible.

Trump is viewed by the Establishment as a one time phenomenon and they only operate with one goal "ensure he abandons MAGA and fails so that we can get back in power". Both sides have the same objective really.

America definitely needs a permanent 3rd Party option based on the polling where both parties are largely unpopular by some margin.
Unfortunately, both parties have the system rigged so that only one of the two of them can win the presidency. You need 270 electoral votes to win (out of 435). 270 is the figure just over 1/2.

For the sake of argument, let's say you've got a really, really good third party candidate who actually wins states and electoral votes. Let's even take it further and say that out of the three candidates, all three of them wind up in a virtual tie with 145 electoral votes each. So, no one gets to the 270 electoral votes needed to win.

What happens then? Well, let's just say that one is a Republican and one is a Democrat and the other is a Libertarian. Let's also say that Democrats have the House majority and Republicans have the Senate majority. So, when no one reaches the necessary 270 electoral votes to win, then the House votes for who will be president and the Senate votes for who will be vice president. Who do you think the democrat House will vote to be president? Who do you think the Senate will vote for who will be vice president?

Hint: The Libertarian will be going home to watch reruns of Gilligan's Island while the democrats and republicans will be sworn into office.

I honestly think Democrats have a failure of leadership unlike any time in their history. It was bad enough during the W. Bush years, stabilized during the Obama years, and they completely imploded after Clinton's loss in 2016, reaching it's nadir during the Biden administration, when the far left kooks took control while Biden was only semi-coherent.

They have not recovered and continue to have no direction, leadership, or strategy. When your platform rests on kids getting surgery to change their sex, normal people turn away in disgust, and feel as though someone like Donald Trump is your best option.
Really amazing that today there have been a couple of threads now where posters I normally disagree with 99% of the time I can actually have an honest conversation with and even agree with them. Very refreshing. Maybe not all is completely lost.

Trump is not a true conservative by any means, he has straddled the center his whole life. If one thinks about it, the GOP was a dying party in 2016 and Trump was actually more of a third party candidate, like Bernie Sanders was. Trump knew the infrastructure of the GOP would get him farther, so he ran as a republican. MAGA, in my opinion, is a third party solution. The old establishment GOP is still rather dead as a party. Fast forward to 2026, and the dumocrap party is dying and needs a powerful, convincing third party candidate to take over the party.
Progressives are working on that.

By the way, what is MAGA? I have asked both the right and the left this question many times and I have never really gotten a definition. Maybe it would be easier just to state how MAGA is different than a Republican but, then again, republicans change so even that could be hard to do. But, I would really like to know who or what MAGA actually is, because many say that Trump is MAGA but then some of the things Trump has done are making MAGA mad. So, Trump might not even be MAGA himself. I'm so confused.

I'm just hoping Massie runs.
And what does that do? He's not going to win, so Massie running could just mean electing democrats instead of republicans. That's the trouble with so called Libertarians. They just can't see the fact that they can't win, no matter what they do.
