By the time Obama left he had the lowest amount of troops aboard in 60 years... Trump has actually increased it since then...
The problem with Trump's latest idea it like Syria comes with no planning. US troop had to evacuate Syria, Vietnam style and let allies, fellow guys in the fight to be overwhelmed by enemies of US.

I can not help but remember the praise President Obama got from CNN and most of the media when he pulled all U.S. military forces out of Iraq. We have been in Afghanistan and Iraq for nearly twenty years now if you have not accomplished whatever mission you had by now your not going too.
