This is an interesting movie, it won't be for everybody.
Shot in black and white, Joaquin Phoenix plays a freelance journalist who is traveling across the U.S. interviewing children about what they think of the future, when his sister has a family emergency where he needs to care for his young nephew.
Mostly it is a story of humanity. Life on earth is so complex, yet simple if you allow it. A line from the movie kind of sums it up - "Whatever you plan on happening in life, never happens. Stuff you never think of is what happens"
Joaquin Phoenix does it again, plays a character so well and so believable. He instantly draws you in and holds you throughout the movie.
If you like human interest stories... this is a good one.
