Banned for life, wow !
I don't support the guy in any fashion, but that's a bit of an overkill if I've ever seen one.
Talk about political correctness, holy ******* shit !!
It is massive power play to get him to sell to Magic for a minimal price.
They are all in on it.
Them claiming that they had no clue he was a racist when it has been in the public is what this is.
They knew they get him on a recording, The mistress was in on it.
This is classic.
Either way, he is a scumbag and I do not care. Good riddance.

Holy satellite dishes!!!!!!!!!!
Ok so his racism has been in the public for a long time and now that his racism was recorded in private......the massive public outrage?
Why was there no public outrage before?
You all really do not smell that?

Found something we can agree on...I was figuring a year ban, a fine, then everyone would forget about it.

Officially he is registered as a repub. Go figure.
When you made the "You Guys" comment you lost the argument. That is a response that was used against Ross Perot. It's is a challenge meant to put someone on the defense. It's an indignant response that's way too easy to use when you feel like you want to control the discussion.
I imagine you don't sit around talking about getting some payback. But when you get the chance to vote for a tool like Obama I'm sure you jumped at the chance. There are different forms of protest, not all of them are violent.
The point I wanted to make is there is a mindset in the black community that is sort of an unwritten rule. I've lived with blacks since the 70s, and they bump into it constantly. "Stick to your own kind" comes up often. "Oh, you're one of those blacks" has come up more than once.
Look, the more I talk about this the more you'll call me a racist, so let's drop it. You'll never accept the truth anyway. Like my nephew says, those who patronize us deserve to be made fun of. Those who are critical of us only do it cuz we're black. It's a no-win situation.
Speaking for myself, I am not posting in this forum to "win" anything, and the reason that I asked what you meant by "you guys" was a legitimate question. I believe you are uncomfortable with the fact that I would not speak to you as being part of a collective, only as an individual. That defies a thought process that you have obviously spent a long time developing for the sake of your comfort zone.
When I address people in this forum, I don't refer to them as "you guys"......I refer to them as individuals and judge them solely on what they speak as individuals. I normally don't associate behaviors with political party loyalty or with race, until a persons reasoning is so immersed in race and politics like yours is that is no other way that they can think.
That being said, it is not incumbent upon me to attempt to speak with you sensibly as an individual if your mindset is that "the so called black community thinks the same"
My signature line I think, describes you perfectly.
"Too often we enjoy the comfort of opinion, without the discomfort of thought"
Well, as I stated before, I've never been one to follow the crowd. It's too easy to be a conformist.
High-Gravity is a perfect example of a non-conformist. He's a brother. He's a good soul. He's also unfortunately way too rare.
Problem being, I have been greatly disappointed in the past finding out that someone I admired turned out to be a racist. Seems that blacks today are living in the past, a past many of them never experienced. Picture a group almost identical to the way whites were back in the 60s. That is what we have to deal with. And why is that? Because it's easier to be a conformist.[
Your life. Your experiences. We all see it the way that we choose to, that is our right.
Let's just be thankful that this is an anonymous forum and the majority of us don't really know each other.

There was outrage before. You must not be black.

When you say OUTRAGE, are you talking about the NAACP recently presenting him a Lifetime award?
Wow, that is some kind of outrage, let me tell you.
He was suspended?
Was he banned before?
Fined?
Outrage eh?
Ok, we will see how much Magic and his partners buy the Clippers for.

No he didn't. TMZ produced a voter registration form from a Donald Sterling that lives in TEXAS, Sterling doesn't and has never lived in Texas.
You liberals will lie and lie and lie to avoid the facts. Sterling donated to Democrats, not Republicans.
the weird thing is his girlfriend is part black
Slave owner mentality. You can sleep with the slave women and use the men to make you money but they are never your equal. Thats white privilege on display at a high level.

Yep! And I wonder if the rightwingers/Republicans that insisted Sterling is a Democrat will run away with their tails between their legs or will they apologize to the board for being duped by Drudge again?
Politifact:
Our ruling
Drudge said Sterling is a Democrat. County records show that he is a registered Republican and has been for many years. His donations to Democrats took place two decades ago and were modest even by the standards of that time.
We rate the claim Pants on Fire.

I guess you purposely missed my post where the LA county voter registrars office has him registered as a Repub. Why this is a important distinction to you I dont know but you should know the truth if it matters that much.
