It seems his plan is to drag this out to at least the mid-terms to see if this cloud over Trump's head will turn things against him.

Mueller knows there is no "there" there. He knows this investigation was started with absolutely no real evidence at all. Yet he's going to conduct it like he was chasing down a known murderer. What happened in the FBI stinks, what happened in obtaining a surveillance warrant stinks even more, and the very idea that this information came from Russia when it's supposedly Russian connections he's investigating and not even questioning anybody on the Obama side certainly strikes most of us as a totally bias witch hunt.
