While it is interesting that all politicians take credit for all the good stuff (and imaginary good stuff) that take place while they are in office, and deflect blame for all the bad stuff, Democrats are singularly unable to point to anything they actually DID that brought about the beneficial developments.

Barry O'Bama had the benefit of trillions of dollars in QE and deficits, that he promised would not only create new jobs, but would have a ripple effect that would create even more new jobs...but those "shovel ready" projects turned out to be an illusion.

The economy was great under Clinton. The "Reagan Recession" was mostly due to Carter swallowing the bullet in the fight against inflation and going with a tight money policy which continued under Reagan. For sure Jimmy Carter and GHW Bush didn't help their own presidencies in putting the economic health of the country ahead of their own personal interest.
