we've been picking about 10lbs of tomatos a day for the last 3 weeks,,

aint nothing wrong with a tomato sammich,, I like mine with bacon,,

I dont know what they did this year for the peaches but man are they good!!!
The Wife will generally pick up one peach to test em out and 9 times out of 10 it gets tossed in the garbage.
I haven't had a peach this good in ten years,I'm going through em as fast as the Wife can buy em.

Tomato sandwiches are probably one of my favorite things to eat.
Me too. I love them. I haven't had a REAL good one for about 30 years though. That tomato came from the Netherlands to CA and it was spendy $3/lb as I recall. It reminded me of the tomatoes when I was a kid. The tomatoes in the stores don't have that flavor--they're beautiful to look at but not so much flavor. I haven't found a type of tomato to grow where I have gotten THAT flavor. Close a couple of times from farmers markets but just not quite there. I keep trying though. :)

Mine too. I wait alllllll year for the first tomato to get ripe. Mrs. MO knows how to keep me working the garden...but she also understands where my loyalties lie. The tomatoes are going to make it...everything else is secondary...
