Good for them. I suggested the same just a day or two ago. If we are going to be a global society, linked economically then those who are part of the community must be held accountable to the community. Especially communists.

Class-action suit seeks to bill China for coronavirus fallout: 'We want the court to make them pay'

A class-action lawsuit filed in Florida this month seeks to "make China pay for what they've done" in its handling of the coronavirus crisis, saying the country acted "negligently in their handling of the COVID-19 outbreak."

A personal injury law firm based in Boca Raton, Fla., is bringing the suit against China and various Chinese government agencies on behalf of "individuals and business owners in the United States and State of Florida, for damages suffered as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic."

The suit claims China "knew that COVID-19 was dangerous and capable of causing a pandemic, yet slowly acted, proverbially put their head in the sand, and/or covered it up in their own economic self-interest."

This amateur legal eagle would advise these Floridians not to hold their breathe waiting for any sort of payout.

China is facing a world of hurt when this pandemic is over....it won't just be a state or two that takes them to court....it will be 2/3rds of the planet....I would like to see the USA default on the debt we owe them to pay for their negligence or worse....f em what are they going to do about it....
