The Bill of Rights
(for the united republic)
You wrote a law making poverty illegal. How will you enforce this? How many police will you need?
The issue of poverty is a civil matter.
What you do is you take your case to court and prove that you are being paid wages that are too low to live on.
You show the judge the price of a car, the price of a house, the average rent prices, the cost of food, the cost of clothing, and the cost of consumer goods like electronics, furniture, tools and gardening supplies, and the cost of entertainment...
And you show the judge your pay stubs.
Then the judge tells the business to pay you a certain amount per week based on that, and puts the business on probation.
And grants you the difference between the wages you earned and the prices, times how long you worked there.
Cash money, to be paid by the employer at that point in time.
If the Business continues to pay people low wages, they shut down the business, as a business that isn't advancing society, and that which is causing poverty.
Its plain black and white.
Are you working ? yes.
Can you afford the price structure ? if the answer is no, and you are working...
You win your court case against the employer.
