Why is it that all the new horror movies rely on such disturbing imagery? I mean I LOVE horror flicks but some of it is just flat out DISTURBING!

I came up with an advertising idea for Duracell.......Get old movie clips where the woman is walking down stairs with a flashlite and then it goes out......Tag line....."This would never happen with a Duracell".......What do ya think?
