That is most interesting. Wasn't it stolen by the Romans when they destroyed the Temple?

The location of a chest believed to contain the Ten Commandments has long been a mystery, but CIA documents claims the Ark of the Covenant has been found.

Better you consult this guy.

No. The Ark was lost before the Second Temple was built, and was never found.

Not sure what people expect if it’s ever found, it won’t have the presence of the Lord. The new temple of the Lord is the body of Jesus Christ.

I would think the new temple isn't here yet

And maybe it don't have to come...

If enough of you heathens get right with Christ, he won't have to return and turn the seas red with the blood of the sinners. Your finite mind can't comprehend the amount of work that makes for me and my angels.

For most... The return of Jesus will be worse then WW3.

Sin runs rampant but it doesn't have to.

The great awakening is still in reach. We need Jesus to make a come back, not come back. ;)

It's been in an Ethiopian church for a long time

Actually, The Ark was in the First Temple destroyed in 586 BCE by Nebuchadnezzar, the King of Babylon, when he conquered Jerusalem (nearly 700 years before Romans destroyed the Second Temple in 90 CE),

Tradition says The Ark was hidden before the destruction of The Temple and the location is unknown.

It was hidden in tunnels under Golgotha. To be more precise, right under where Jesus was crucified.
Israel has it. The Israeli government. They didn't until the late 1970s or 1980s or so though.

Interesting theory.

Interesting theory.
It's plausible. Either that or the Ethiopians have it. They certainly think they have it.
I think the Ethiopians have either a planned decoy, or something that is not The Ark, but very valuable.

Not really. The first mention of Golgatha in any writings comes from New Testament authors also 700 years after The Ark disappeared.

If it had been there, it's unlikely it would have been undisturbed in all that time.

It was hidden there by priests centuries before Jesus was crucified,
and it stayed there for a long time.
It was found and the Israeli government took it.

Humph! According to this article, the Ark of the Covenant is in Ireland!!!! 😁
