Trump did not go bankrupt. He was long gone from the three Trump casinos by the time they went belly up.I will agree Trump is no conservative. However, he is fiscally conservative. And that is all it takes.....This country is in dire need of a government that practices fiscal restraint and responsibilityChris Christie faces backlash over Donald Trump support - CNNPolitics.com
What did he expect? He is just sucking up to Donald hoping for a cabinet post or maybe a spot on the Apprentice.
You are ridiculous, and a drone, lol.
Rubio is getting SLAMMED because he is not Trump by the voters, hehehehehehehehe. So will Hilly, so you better be prepared because the Democrat power structure is a house of cards without the Presidency. They control NOTHING, and Trump has already said; many of your precious agencies are going the way of the Do-Do bird.
You really believe Trump? If the man ever became President, he would expand his kingdom like no one has ever done it before. He is a Liberal in Conservative clothing.
I suspect if he were fiscally conservative he wouldn't have gone bankrupt on several ill-advised casinos and hotels. Nor would Rump Air/the Rump Shuttle and Rump Steaks and Rump Vodka all have dried up.
Well, there is Rump Roast. That's always fun.
But if you mean 'fiscally conservative' in terms of underpaying workers (or at the skating rink, not paying them at all), then fair point.
The reason why his name stayed on the buildings and letterhead is because that was the agreement with the operating companies..
And here's a little newsflash for ya....Companies declare bankruptcy all the time. Name one single Airline in the US that hasn't..Here is a hint. ZERO...
Some of the world's largest and most successful companies have declared bankruptcy.
And here is another newsflash....If the federal governments and several state governments were operated in the same manner and under the same rules as a business, they too would have declared bankruptcy long ago. and probably more than once.
So please....You can stow that narrative....
BTW, wanna know something else? This one will really bake your cookies.....Companies often do in the face of difficult but recoverable economic circumstances declare bankruptcy as a matter of fiscal strategy....
Go do some homework......
Oh, that airline? When Trump airways came into being it put THOUSANDS of former Eastern Shuttle employees back to work. The unfortunate part of the carrier going out of business was the airlines competing for those routes and gates in the lucrative Northeast Corridor essentially put Trump airways out of business so they could scoop up the goodies for themselves.
Not only did those mentioned ventures go bankrupt -- and he's the one who decided to embark on those ventures --- but he actually sued an analyst for analyzing that his Atlantic City spree would end badly. He got the guy fired for making that suggestion.
Well guess what. The analyst, contrary to Rump, was spot-on correct. And he got a big payoff out of it. Rump, for his part, got ---- another bankruptcy.
What a businessman.
